What is SIP Trunking?

SIP Trunking connects the phone system you already have in your office to our cloud over the Internet. You keep your current phones and system while calls travel over your Internet connection.

Do I have to replace my current phone system?

No. That's the point of SIP Trunking and IP Interconnection: you keep the system you have and connect it to IBeXc, and you can move to a fully hosted system later, at your own pace.

My phone system is older. Can it still connect?

Often, yes. Older systems that only have PRI or T1 connections can be connected through a gateway device that we set up.

Can some offices be hosted while others keep their own system?

Yes. Hybrid setups are common: one office keeps its existing system while new or smaller offices go fully hosted, all working together.

Can offices in different towns or states work together?

Yes. Locations across Alaska and the Lower 48 can be connected into one integrated system.
